Breeding
Our breeding program focuses on quality. Quality genetics, quality performance, quality health and quality of life for our breeding dogs. We have very strict standards when it comes to selecting dogs for our breeding program resulting in only 1 out of every 3 prospects kept for breeding. They must have have OFA certified hips, eyes, and elbows. As well as genetic testing for Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) syndrome and Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM). They must also meet minimum performance standards of being Hunting Retriever Champion level in HRC hunt tests. In addition to health and performance they must also have excellent temperament for life in the house with the family. All of our dogs spend time in the house with the family and have a good OFF switch helping to ensure their pups will be good for both the field and the family.
These strict standards will help to ensure you will get a puppy that is healthy and has the right stuff to perform in the field as well as be a good companion in the home.
