Quality Over Quantity
We are a small kennel that only houses 10 dogs at any given time. This reduces noise and stress on the guests in our care. With such a small number our staff is able to give each dog the personal care he or she deserves and needs while away from home. We feed a high quality performance dog food (Inukshuk) that is included with the stay or you can provide your own preferred food.
Comfort & Safety
Our facility is designed and managed with the comfort and health of your companion as the top priority. We use industry leading Kuranda dog beds for maximum comfort and cleanliness. Our facility contains no porous surfaces for ease of cleaning and all surfaces are washed and sanitized daily. Our facility is climate controlled to be heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer.
Exercise
While at Platte Valley Kennels you can be assured your pup will have plenty of exercise and room for play. With our spacious 4' x 6' kennels for indoor time and our large 100' x 30' outdoor play yards for twice daily airing time your pup will not just be "locked up" for their stay. We have separate play yards to accommodate for gender, size and temperament.
Flexibility
Because our facility is located at our home we are able to be very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Just let us know via call or text when you are coming and we should be able to accommodate. Our clients are our friends and are treated as such.
